The RD2 Distinctive Ring Service -
Call Manager is used in conjunction with Distinctive Ring service provided
by the local telephone company (service activation required). Operation is
easy - just plug the RD2 into any telephone wall jack and connect one or two
devices like telephones, fax machines, computer modems, etc. Incoming calls
are then automatically directed to the desired location every time, each
with its own unique telephone number.
IN THE HOME OR SMALL OFFICE ENVIRONMENT, the RD2 can be used to differentiate calls for specific users, or to send calls to desired locations with the Distinctive Ring service. The RD2 provides a cost-effective method of directing calls to the correct device without the extra monthly service charge of adding costly dedicated telephone lines.
